Kildee Gets Key Outside Support For Safe Drinking Water Efforts

WASHINGTON (Sept. 13, 2022) – The re-election campaign of Rep. Dan Kildee is getting key outside advertising support from a pro-environment Super PAC starting today.

Kildee has “done more for safe drinking water than maybe anyone else in the country,” Dr. Mona Hanna-Attisha, who helped bring public attention to Flint’s water crisis, says in the new ads.

NRDC Action Votes, the independent expenditure affiliate of the NRDC Action Fund, sponsored the ad and is running over $250,000 of them on broadcast and online in mid-Michigan. Dan Kildee worked to ensure the bipartisan infrastructure bill will help get the lead and chemicals out of Michigan’s drinking water.

“Safe drinking water isn’t a partisan issue, and Dan Kildee has demonstrated how to get things done on this crucial issue for Michiganders,” said Jocelyn Steinberg, director of NRDC Action Votes. “ Paul Junge is just plain wrong on this issue. It’s reckless not to stand up for the health of our children and of our seniors.”
