WASHINGTON - NRDC Action Votes today launched a blistering new ad calling out Rob Bresnahan for exactly what he is: an out of touch millionaire who has been handed everything in life and has no clue of the challenges Pennsylvania working families face. NRDC Action Votes warns Scranton voters that they can’t afford Bresnahan’s agenda, which would raise the cost of insulin and make life even harder for regular, working people and small businesses.
“Rob Bresnahan is the definition of being born on third base and thinking he hit a triple, but the worst part is how Bresnahan’s charmed life came at cost where he was all too happy to kill local jobs to line his own pockets,” said Jon Colmenares, Deputy Director of NRDC Action Votes. “Now Bresnahan wants to go to Washington where he will make health care costs more expensive for working families and even raise the cost of insulin because he is completely disconnected from the realities most Pennsylvanians face. Let’s call him what he is: a tool, not a leader.”
Rob Bresnahan opposes the law that brought down prescription drug costs and has spurred over 200,000 clean energy jobs in Pennsylvania. NRDC Action Votes urges voters to reject Bresnahan’s out of touch agenda and will be spending $250,000 on digital communication with the new ad starting October 17, 2024 and running through Election Day (November 5, 2024).
